The annual Pride parade may be cancelled but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep connected with the LGBTQ+ community. We’ve compiled a list of the best virtual parades, live-streamed DJ sets and digital debates to help you mark the occasion virtually.
UK Black Pride, Amnesty International, Stonewall and ParaPride have joined together and created Pride inside; a series of gigs, comedy shows, panel discussion and art-based events, all from the comfort of your own home.
Pride Inside will run from Sunday 28th June – Sunday 5th July. The line-up is yet to be announced (watch this space) but includes an exciting array of LGBTI+ comedians, artists, DJs, musicians, and activists. Find out more.
Anthems Pride Podcast
Looking for something a little more low key then a club night on Zoom? Don your headphones and tune into Anthems Pride – a new podcast celebrating the diverse voices in the LGBTQ+ community. They have an exceptional line up of speakers all contributing their honest, inspiring, raw, moving, and motivating words. A new podcast will be released every day of Pride Month, so start listing to the collection of stories and declarations today! Listen here.
Usually takes place in September, but this year Bi Pride is going virtual during Pride Month. Bi-Fi Festival will be streamed live on Twitch. Tune in to watch thought-provoking discussion panels and enjoy entertainment from a diverse array of bi performers. All followed by a DJ’ed after party to get you dancing!! More info.
Pride in London have set up the #YouMeUsWe campaign, calling on everyone who would have taken part in the usual festivities of Pride Month to make an act of allyship. The goal is to reach 30,000 acts – one for every person who would have marched in the parade.
There are 3 main ways to make an allyship;
1. Donate to your community
2. Be there for your community
3. Celebrate your community
Mamma G is hosting #MammaGsFamilyPrideParty live on Facebook. It will be a day long family friendly event in which Mamma G will be joined by a whole host of wonderful singers, sportspeople, artists, performers, and storytellers all representing the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. There will be activities and performances throughout the day – just like being at pride! Join here.
On June 27th Pride organisations around the world join forces for Global Pride 2020 – a 24 hour live streamed event featuring musical and artistic performances, speeches from activists and campaigners and addresses by public figures.

Speed dating events company Date in a Dash has connected with Pride in London to host a number of virtual dating events for the LGBTQ+ community. On 26th June at 7.30pm you can enter a ‘date room’ and have a number of four-minute long dates to see if you connect with anyone! Find out more.

Museums are still closed but there are a number of interesting virtual exhibitions aiming to educate and entertain with LGBTQ+ history and art. The best ones linked here.
