urbanest Student Accommodation and London School of Economics have been working together since 2014 to provide student accommodation solutions to LSE students, of which we now have over 800 living in our LSE student accommodation. This is either in our Westminster Bridge accommodation or our King’s Cross accommodation.
London School of Economics is roughly a 25-minute tube from our King’s Cross accommodation and just a 15-minute tube from our Westminster Bridge accommodation. However, both areas have their advantages in terms of things to do and sights to see.
The rooms we offer at our London School of Economics accommodation are aimed to suit every budget. We offer everything from twin bedrooms to luxury studio apartments, all of which are in the heart of London.

urbanest Westminster Bridge is in a great location for LSE students, as it’s just 15 minutes to campus via bus and a 24-minute walk. It’s also nearby other LSE student accommodation, including halls of residence such as Passfield Hall, Bankside House or Grosvenor House. So you are directly in the student bubble and can easily access anywhere on campus. As well as being near London School of Economics and Political Science, there are plenty of things to do and see near Westminster Bridge.
Westminster Bridge Transport Links
urbanest Westminster Bridge is very well connected in terms of transport links, meaning you can get across London in minutes. Lambert North is just 5 minutes’ walk away, which can take you to Oxford Circus in just 9 minutes via the Bakerloo line. Waterloo is also just 7 minutes’ walk from your front door, this means you have access to the entire rail network of South East England. Not only this, but due to the riverside location, any walks are bound to be picturesque.
Things to do near Westminster Bridge
Because of its central location, Urbanest Westminster Bridge is minutes away from London’s main attractions. The iconic Big Ben for example, is just 11 minutes’ walk away and Buckingham Palace is only 16 minutes via tube.
If you fancy winding down with friends, Westminster bridge is close to many eclectic restaurants, including sushi bars, brasseries and steak houses. It’s also home to quirky cafés, including the Four Corner Café, which has rave reviews. If you’re more of a night owl, urbanest Westminster is close to a number of clubs and bars, including a Sherlock Holmes themed bar and a speakeasy.

Here you can access London School of Economics and Politics in just 24 minutes via the tube and only 42 minutes if you’re walking. On top of that, its location means you’re never far from something to do and iconic sights to see.
King’s Cross Transport Links
urbanest King’s Cross is only 15 minutes’ walk from King’s Cross St Pancras Underground Station, from here you can access most of the major lines, including Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria. This means you can get to Oxford Circus is just 4 minutes. Also because this is a national rail station, you can access the national rail network and go further afield. Finally, St Pancras is also home to the Eurostar, so you can even leave the country without having to venture to an airport.
Things to do near King’s Cross
Whether you’re after arts and culture, museums, restaurants or bars, King’s Cross is full of exciting things to do around every corner. For example, the famous platform 9 ¾, which Harry Potter fans flock to, is based inside the King’s Cross and St Pancras International Station, which is just 12 minutes’ walk from your front door. The British Library, which is one of the most renowned libraries in the world, is also just 20 minutes’ walk from you.
There are also a plethora of restaurants nearby, for example Camino King’s Cross, which is a firm favourite amongst tapas fans. Finally, if you’re into your nightlife, Egg London is a famous and unique nightclub in London and is only 4 minutes’ walk from your digs.
