King’s College London is in the heart of the city, meaning you’re never short on things to do in-between lectures. For example, Covent Garden is a 5-minute walk from the KCL Strand campus, here you can visit many fashion and craft stalls as well as a range of eateries. If you want a spot to picnic, why not venture to St Dunstan in the East? This is a church which was largely destroyed in World War 2 and now is used as a public garden.
Due to its central location, KCL students are also never short on options for nightlife, with a range of bars and clubs in close proximity. King’s also offers its own student union bars, including The Vault and Philosophy Bar for those on the Strand Campus, or Guy’s Bar for those on Guy’s Campus.

You’re never short on things to do in King’s Cross. People from all over the world come to this area due to famous sights, including the renowned platform 9 ¾ from Harry Potter, which is based inside the King’s Cross and St Pancras International Station. You’re also a 30 minute tube ride away from Regent’s Park, which is perfect for a picnic in the summer.
