Battersea Sustainable Living

One of the most unique aspects of our Battersea student accommodation is its structure and design.

This is a state-of-the-art building that is leading the revolution in sustainable buildings. Our Battersea accommodation was constructed to Passivhaus standards.

Buildings are responsible for 35% of the world’s energy consumption, but through Passivhaus, we were able to build self-sufficient student accommodation. With very high insulation levels, airtight building fabrics and ‘thermal bridge-free’ construction, we aim to recover 80% of all heat.

It is due to Passivhaus that our Battersea student accommodation has heat recovery ventilation, meaning that energy is not lost through the building but is kept cool enough to remain comfortable. What’s more, with all air being filtered, air quality is better, especially for those suffering from allergies.

So, while you may want to find ways to live a sustainable student life, one of the best decisions you could make is to choose our Battersea student accommodation.

Battersea transport links

Just outside of our Battersea student accommodation is the Battersea tube line. This new line extends from Kenington and connects to the Northern line, giving Battersea residents easy access to tube lines across Zone 1 and beyond. The Battersea Park Bus station is also just a 5-minute walk away, and Clapham Junction train station offers direct trains to Waterloo, London Victoria and outside of London.

But if that is not your style, you could make use of the short walk to the River Thames and take the River Bus, which will get you to central London within 20 minutes.
