Staying in Battersea over the summer and wondering what you can do? Lucky for you, Battersea is buzzing with all kinds of events. From riverside pop-ups, food and drink markets, to live music, there’s something for everyone. Here we’ve collated the top 20 experiences across Battersea to fill your summer.

Concerts and live music

Battersea Jazz Festival

Kick off the jazz with a free live jazz performance at 3-5pm on Sunday, 29th of June at Battersea Power Station. Enjoy live music from the founder of the festival inside Turbine Hall B.

From there, the real party begins. Featuring some of London’s premier jazz musicians, the Battersea Jazz Festival launch party will be at Pizza Express Dean Street on Monday, June 30th. The festival then takes place in July at a variety of venues across Battersea and Wandsworth.

Battersea Park in Concert

Weekend-long open air picnic concerts in London’s iconic Battersea Park. With three concerts celebrating the finest classical, disco, jazz and blues music, it’s the perfect time to indulge in food and drink with friends and family. Enjoy pre-booked picnic hampers, street food, bars, and fun fair rides.

Live Music at the Pear Tree Café

Enjoy live music Wednesdays to Saturdays and even bank holidays at Pear Tree Café in Battersea. Line-ups may vary but include live jazz and acoustic music. No booking required, just turn up and enjoy refreshing drinks on the terrace from April to September.

Cinema and screenings

Lego x F1 Family Watch Party

Watch the live stream of the F1 race on the big screen at Power Station Park and enjoy a range of family activities. From building your own LEGO creations, challenges, and immersive experiences, plus a life-sized LEGO Formula 1 car on display.

Cinema at Battersea Power Station

Wimbledon At Battersea Power Station

The Sprit of Barbados at Battersea Power Station

The River Walk Market

Every Sunday, enjoy a fresh line-up of independent food traders, local producers, and artisanal treats at the Battersea Power Station market, which will pop up along the riverside. This market offers the perfect weekend plan for foodies.

Sports and active days out

Watch Live Screenings

As stated before, competitions such as Wimbledon is playing from 30 June to 13 July at Battersea Power Station, or you can watch the finals at Battersea Park on the 12th and 13th of July. You can also watch the Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2025 at Battersea Power Station on the 6th of July.

Running Clubs at Battersea

You don’t have to wait for the new year to get into running, and at Battersea Power Station, there are plenty of running clubs. They’re always on and have regular meetings, and they’re great for beginner or seasoned runners.
