Prize Draw: 50% Off Rent at urbanest Canary Wharf

This promotion is organised and promoted by urbanest UK Ltd (“urbanest”).

1. The Promotion

1.1. Entrants have the opportunity to win one of the following prizes:

  • Two (2) prizes of 50% off rent for a 51-week ensuite room contract at urbanest Canary Wharf for the 2026–27 academic year;

  • One (1) Apple iPad (11th Gen model or equivalent);

  • Two (2) £250 Amazon vouchers;

  • Five (5) £50 Amazon vouchers.

1.2. There are a total of ten (10) prizes available.

1.3. This is a free prize draw. No additional payment is required to enter.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Eligibility for iPad and Amazon Voucher Prizes

To be eligible for the iPad and Amazon voucher prizes, entrants must:

  • Have registered with urbanest at the University of London Housing Fair on Thursday, 5 March 2026.

No booking is required to be eligible for these prizes.

2.2 Eligibility for 50% Off Rent Prizes

To be eligible for the 50% off rent prizes, entrants must:

  • Have registered with urbanest at the University of London Housing Fair on Thursday, 5 March 2026; and

  • Have a reserved booking for an ensuite room at urbanest Canary Wharf via the UCL Accommodation Portal; and

  • Have completed their booking by 11:59pm (GMT) on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

  • This offer is only available for current UCL students (25/26) who are returning for next year (26/27).

Only bookings for a 51-week ensuite contract at urbanest Canary Wharf for the 2026–27 academic year qualify.

Bookings that are cancelled prior to the prize draw date will not be eligible.

2.3 General Eligibility

  • Applicants must be eligible students of University College London (UCL).

  • Employees of urbanest and UCL, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

  • Only one entry per person is permitted.

3. Closing Date

3.1. The closing date for eligibility for the 50% off rent prizes is 11:59pm (GMT) on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

3.2. Eligibility for the iPad and Amazon voucher prizes closes at the end of the University of London Housing Fair on Thursday, 5 March 2026.

4. Winner Selection

4.1. Winners will be selected at random from the relevant eligible entrants for each prize tier.

4.2. The draw will take place within a reasonable period following the relevant closing dates.

4.3. Winners will be contacted using the details provided at registration or booking.

4.4. If a winner does not respond within five (5) working days, urbanest reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

5. Prize Details

5.1 50% Off Rent Prizes

  • Each prize consists of a 50% discount applied to the rent payable under a 51-week ensuite contract at urbanest Canary Wharf for the 2026–27 academic year.

  • The prize has no monetary value.

  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

  • The prize cannot be transferred to another student.

  • The prize cannot be applied to any other room type or property.

  • All other charges remain payable in full.

Normal UCL Accommodation booking terms and conditions apply.

5.2 iPad Prize

  • One (1) Apple iPad (11th generation model).

  • Model, storage capacity and colour are determined by urbanest.

  • No cash alternative.

  • Non-transferable.

  • urbanest reserves the right to substitute with a prize of equal or greater value.

  • Apple is not affiliated with this promotion.

5.3 Amazon Voucher Prizes

  • Two (2) £250 Amazon vouchers.

  • Five (5) £50 Amazon vouchers.

  • Issued electronically.

  • Subject to Amazon’s own terms and conditions.

  • Non-transferable.

  • No cash alternative.

  • Amazon is not affiliated with this promotion.

6. General Conditions

6.1. urbanest reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

6.2. Personal data supplied will be processed in accordance with urbanest’s Privacy Policy.

6.3. urbanest may make available the surname and university of prize winners in accordance with applicable advertising regulations.

6.4. urbanest reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the promotion if necessary.

6.5. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

6.6. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

6.7 Publicity

6.7. By accepting a prize, winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the promotion, including the provision of a photograph and/or testimonial for use in urbanest/UCL marketing materials and on social media channels.

6.8. Winners’ first name and university may be published in accordance with applicable advertising regulations.

6.9. Any winner who objects to their details being published should notify urbanest at the time of being informed of their win.
