London Film School Student Accommodation
London Film School is working in partnership with urbanest to provide exclusive offers to London Film School students starting their course in January 2021. Two convenient central London locations – Hoxton and King’s Cross – enjoy excellent transport links and are both just a few stops on the tube from LFS.

Hoxton and nearby Shoreditch form the heartland of the capital’s cutting-edge galleries, clubs and cafes. Both properties are only minutes away from supermarkets, retail shops and the hustle and bustle of everything central London has to offer.

urbanest Hoxton is an easy 25 minute ride by either tube or bus from the London Film School campus. It is also located in one of central London’s hippest districts. Within easy reach of the building are Shoreditch, with its cutting edge bars, galleries, restaurants, live music venues and cafes, and Old street, home to London’s burgeoning tech start-up community.
Old Street is the closest underground station for urbanest Hoxton residents – just a 5 minute walk away. This provides quick access to many central locations such as London Bridge or Euston via the Northern line. There are also many buses that leave from right outside the front door, including the Number 76 bus that will take you straight to the LFS campus in Shelton Street.
Things to do
Hoxton is celebrated for its indie art community, offering many contemporary galleries to stroll around during a day off. As well as the art scene, the area is home to some of London’s best markets, including Columbia Road Flower Market and Brick Lane Market. Here you can browse a range of floral or craft gifts, vintage clothing, record stalls and street food outlets. For a quiet afternoon in the summer why not grab an artisan coffee from one of the many coffee shops nearby and relax in Hoxton Square or Shoreditch Park which is just 7 minutes from your door.
Finally, urbanest Hoxton boasts a range of facilities to make you want to stay indoors. The building offers excellent communal areas in which you can socialise with fellow students, including a roof terrace and a gym room. On the ground floor is the newly refurbished café offering several delicious street food options. A quick and easy 20 minute ride on the tube takes LFS residents directly to campus from urbanest King’s Cross. Located in the heart of London’s King’s Cross Quarter, this property is surrounded by the many shops, bars, cafes and restaurants of nearby Granary Square and Coal Drops Yard.
urbanest King’s Cross is just a nine minute walk from King’s Cross St Pancras Station, from here you can access many of London’s major tube lines, including the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines. From here you can also access the national rail network which will enable you to explore all parts of the UK or you may choose to go even further afield by taking advantage of having St Pancras International Station on your doorstep, home to the Eurostar…

Whether you’re after arts and culture, museums or restaurants, King’s Cross is full of exciting things to do around every corner. For example, the Harry Potter’s famous platform 9 ¾, is based at King’s Cross St Pancras Station, which is a short walk from your front door. The British Library, which is one of the world’s most renowned libraries, is also just a 20 minute walk away. There are also many supermarket and retail shops nearby, and a number of restaurants including Camino King’s Cross, which is a firm favourite amongst tapas fans.
