The Royal Veterinary College has two campuses across the UK, one in Hertfordshire and one in London. The London Campus is situated in Camden, which is a central location in terms of transport links and things to do.
Urbanest offer RVC student accommodation for undergraduates and postgraduates in the heart of London. Our two closest properties are our St Pancras accommodation and our King’s Cross accommodation, both of which are within walking distance from this Camden campus and offer their own array of nearby sights to see.
Urbanest St Pancras, for example, is a 10-minute walk from campus and is also a stone throw away from the King’s Cross St Pancras station. This property is based by the Regent’s Canal, offering waterside walks.
While urbanest King’s Cross is very close by, it also boasts its own range of benefits. For example, this property is just a 16-minute walk from the RVC campus. It also neighbours Lewis Cubitt Park and Bingfield Park on days you want to sit in the sun. On top of this, it’s close to Egg London, one of the city’s most famous nightclubs.
Both properties are equipped with a range of facilities, including underfloor heating, gaming areas, and our 24/7 on-site support team. Students can also choose rooms from an en-suite to a luxury studio apartment.

Urbanest St Pancras
Our closest RVC student accommodation is urbanest St Pancras. From here, residents can access campus in a quick 10-minute walk over the canal or a 4-minute bike ride. This property is also neighboured by a range of amenities, including a Co-Op just outside your door, as well as a range of restaurants and cafés.
St Pancras Transport Links
One of the main benefits of this area is the transport links. Thanks to its central location you can travel around London, the UK, and even Europe by walking 9 minutes to King’s Cross St Pancras Station. As well as being one of London’s most connected station in terms of the underground lines, this station also has national rail links allowing you to explore cities across the UK on weekends where you need a getaway. If you’d like to go even further, St Pancras International is home to the Eurostar, a train which can take you to cities like Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris in a few hours.
Things to do near St Pancras
While this area is fantastic for travellers who want to venture out, there is also plenty to do and see on your doorstep. For example, the British Library is the largest library in the world and is only a 17-minute walk from your door. On top of this, the famous Camden Market is also just 17 minutes’ walk away. This offers thousands of stalls selling food, unique gifts and crafts.
For those who want to take in the sun, Regents Park is just 26 minutes’ walk from you. This is one of London’s largest parks and is home to quaint Rose Gardens as well as its very own zoo.

Our St Pancras accommodation also boasts a range of top-notch facilities and spaces, including a communal relaxation area, study rooms and gaming spaces. Each room also has access to a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave and dishwasher.
Urbanest King’s Cross
Also ideal for RVC students is our urbanest King’s Cross accommodation, which is just 0.8 miles from campus. This means you can get to lectures via an 18-minute bus ride, a 17-minute walk, or a quick 6-minute cycle. As this accommodation is very close to our St Pancras property, it boasts the same transport links and things to do.
King’s Cross Transport Links
Similarly to urbanest St Pancras, the closest tube station for King’s Cross residents is King’s Cross St Pancras Underground Station, which is only 15 minutes’ walk from our property. Here, you can access the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, and Victoria line, allowing you to get across the capital in a matter of minutes. On top of that, the National Rail and the Eurostar allow you to travel as far as you’d like, ideal for adventurers.
Things To Do Near King’s Cross
One of the main attractions of this area is the celebrated platform 9 ¾ from Harry Potter, which is based inside the aforementioned King’s Cross and St Pancras International Station. Here, you can pose with the famous trolley for a photo opp.
As well as tourist attractions, you can also expect a range of restaurants and bars within walking distance. For example, tapas restaurant Camino King’s Cross is less than 15 minutes’ walk from you. In terms of nightlife, Egg London hosts weekly student nights and is a 4-minute walk from your door. Finally, for a more relaxed night, Bloomsbury Lanes is just 20 minutes away via tube. This is a 1950’s inspired bowling alley with an American diner inside and private karaoke booths.

While being one of our most central properties, urbanest King’s Cross boasts a range of internal features for those nights where you’d like to stay in. For example, the rooms vary from an en-suite to a luxury studio apartment, offering panoramic views of London. As well as this, all residents can take advantage of the communal relaxation or gaming areas.
